Meghan Whitney Bryan, was crowned Miss Teen America 2005 on July 9 at the Bell South Acuff Theatre in Nashville, Tennessee. Meghan has been dancing and cheerleading since she was 6 years old and she performed a jazz dance to “My Strongest Suit” when she competed for the title of Miss Teen America. In 2002, Meghan was Miss Jr. Teen America and set her sights on the Teen National title at the age of 14. She prepared mentally and physically since she passed her Jr. Teen title onto Brittany Monico in 2003. On winning the title, Meghan says that it was the best day of her life and it seemed like a dream!

Alysha represented her state at the tender age of 13 and placed second alternate to Miss Teen America 2000, Amanda Zachary. Two months later she returned to compete for the title of Miss Jr. Teen America 2000. On July 5th of 2003, Alysha took home the first place honors in Essay, Community Service, Photogenic and tying for first place in Swimwear and Evening wear, along with the title of Miss Teen America 2003. Alysha has donated her time to various organizations her favorite remains the YMCA, where she worked with pre-schoolers, as she aspires to a career as an Elementary School teacher. Alysha is also an accomplished dancer, has appeared in a music video and is an All-Star Cheerleader. Alysha also filmed a pilot which cast her as host of Go Figure!, a television show dedicated to fitness for pre-teen and teenage groups.

One of her memorable trips included being awakened at 2 AM by a fire alarm. Before leaving her hotel room, she grabbed only her crown.

Heather had an exciting year as Miss Teen America. Some of her appearances included singing the National Anthem at a Boston Red Sox game and signing autographs for two hours on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City. At the Indianapolis 500 she was able to sit in Eddie Cheever's Race Car, ride in the same parade as Miss America, Heather French, and ride the pace car before the start of the race. Heather is a graphic design artist and has done some work on our National & State Program books. Heather lives in Connecticut with her husband Michael, newborn daughter Victoria and their dog Trigger.

The 1997-98 Miss Teen America and former World Championships International Top Model is Kentucky native Christella Carpenter Hudson! Christella graduated high school at age 16, won the Miss Teen America title at 17, and was married. at. She went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University. She has held almost every Kentucky teen title, and several Ms. titles. Her most memorable Miss Teen America experience was leading the Kentucky delegation in the Special Olympics World Games, where she says she was inspired and uplifted by the amazing athletes. In the past, she has worked as a chiropractor's assistant, bank teller, and loan processor. Currently, she is part of a ministry team called "Christ Star" (the meaning of her name), and has released two Christian music C.D.'s to date. She performs a variety of Christian music from gospel to contemporary, and gives concert performances across the region. She sings at festivals, weddings, youth events, and other venues as well. She recently sang LIVE on WSM Radio in Nashville, Tennessee, the official radio station of the Grand Ole Opry. Christella enjoys continuing her professional modeling and acting career, and was once flown all-expenses paid to Los Angeles as a top 20 finalist in TopModel magazine's international model search. In the summer of 2006, Christella auditioned and received a speaking role in a feature film titled "Red Velvet Cake", to be released in 2007. In her spare time, she enjoys working as Director of the 3-4 year old children's program at her church. She loves to spend time with her family, scrapbook, and travel. Currently, she resides in Kentucky with her husband of 8 years, Jon, and their daughter, Grace.
