Brittany Monico
Miss Jr. Teen America 2003
Home State:  Connecticut
Talent:  Dance
Age at Competition:  13

If you asked Brittany to describe herself she would tell you that she is a dancer. For Brittany, dance is not an activity, it is a way of life, so when she injured herself during her reign as Miss Jr. Teen America and had to a break from dancing, the pain was excruciating. Not so much the physical pain, but the pain of not dancing. Fortunately, Brittany had something else to fall back on. Being Miss Jr. Teen America and in this capacity her life was busier than she had ever imagined. She spent almost every weekend working with the Special Olympics...then there were the photo shoots, pageants.. traveling.. and of course all of those appearances with the Boy Scouts. There were parades and a trip to Miss America and two trips to Nashville. Brittany made over 50 appearances as Miss Jr. Teen America.
