Miss Teen America is looking for a well-rounded, "girl next door"
Our national pageant will be a fun-filled time for all participants.  All Contestants will compete in the following areas:

Interview: 20%

• Ability to communicate effectively in interview. The judges will be looking for a young woman with a strong sense of reasoning, who can articulate her opinions effectively.  You will need a dress or suit for interview.

Talent or Spokesmodel: 20%

• Talent presentation with a max time limit of 2 mins OR Spokesmodel presentation.  Delegates will be judged on their ability to speak to a large group as they deliver a one min commercial / public service announcement on their state.

Evening Gown: 15%

• Delegates will be judged on grace, poise and elegance of carriage during their presentation. Each delegate must wear a floor length gown, which is age appropriate.

Modeling: 15%

• Each delegate will model an outfit of her own choosing. It must be age appropriate and it should portray the delegate’s spirit. No denim jeans or high glitz attire will be permitted.

Physical Fitness: 15%

• Runway modeling of an aerobic wear outfit.  Judges will be looking for the individual who is physically fit, energetic and healthy, with a strong sense of self-esteem.

Photogenic: 15%

• Delegates will be judged on facial beauty and overall cover model look from their choice of submitted 8 X 10 inch color photograph.
