Heather Konitshek

Heather Orawsky has been involved in pageantry since the age of 10 as a contestant, judge and auditor. She is a Gibbs College Graduate with a degree in Visual Communications where she maintained a 4.0 GPA and was on the Dean’s List and President’s List.

Heather began her career in photography while still in high school where she served as Editor-in-Chief as well as Photographer for the Darien High School year book. She was the 2001 recipient of the Dariannus Yearbook Award and the Arnold Thurm Photography Award. Following high school Heather studied photography at Paier College of Art and Norwalk Community Technical College.

Heather is not new to the Teen America system. She held the title of Miss Connecticut Teen America in 1998 before capturing the Miss Teen America crown in 1999. Over the years, Heather has worked with the national office in creative design for advertising and magazine layouts before serving in her present position as Media Group Director.

Heather resides in Danbury, Connecticut with her husband Mike and their lab mix, Trigger.
