Please note that we will officially begin on Sunday, July 27.  However, if you wish to arrive a day early (the 26th) to settle in, you may do so.

This  year’s host hotel will be the Comfort Suites, a Murfreesboro hotel near Middle Tennessee State University.

The Comfort Suites® hotel is conveniently located off Interstate 24 in the prestigious Gateway District, less than one mile from the Stones River Mall. This
Murfreesboro, TN hotel is two miles from Middle Tennessee State University and Stones River National Battlefield and is only minutes from the Nashville Superspeedway. The Nashville International Airport is a short distance away.

The hotel is also conveniently located just 30 miles from downtown Nashville and Shelbyville, the Walking Horse Capital of the World.

Several shopping opportunities and local businesses are near the hotel. A variety of restaurants and cocktail lounges are located in the surrounding area.

All spacious suites come equipped with refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, curved shower rods, desks, plasma televisions, hair dryers, irons, ironing boards, pillow-top mattresses and cable television. In addition, some suites have sofa sleepers. Handicap accessible and non-smoking suites are available.

Laundry facilities, a sundry shop and a newsstand are located on the property for added guest convenience.

The hotel has provided a discounted rate to the delegates and their families of $112 per night.  Each delegate is required to stay at the host hotel. Due to the length of the pageant, there is an eight night minimum, however, you may extend your stay before or after the event. You must reserve your rooms through our event planner in order to receive the discounted rate.  You will find the registration form in your contestant handbook.  You may also download it now by following this link.

Video and Photography

It is the policy of the Miss Teen America Organization that cameras and/or camcorders are not allowed during any of the competitions. The Staff will be on hand to ensure compliance. If you attempt to carry any cameras digital or otherwise, or any video equipment, you will not be allowed to enter the theater. To ensure complete photo coverage we have an official photographer and videographer who will offer a variety of packages to meet your needs, as well as candid photographs taken throughout the week.

Our Official Pageant Photographer is TBD.  He will be there all week to photograph our outings, parties, etc.  He will also have an assistant towards the end of the week in order to run two cameras during the shows.  Please click on the link below for his order form.

Registration and Orientation

Registration will begin at 10 AM on SUNDAY, JULY 27, at the host hotel.  It is important for each contestant to fully understand that all the necessary papers, documents, photos, forms, and fees must be submitted to pageant headquarters before your arrival in Nashville.  This will make registration run more smoothly.  You will be able to purchase program books, additional t-shirts, crown pins, caps, visors, lanyards, etc. during registration.

The following link will bring you to our online order form which includes your required t-shirts, tickets to outings and optional events, other articles of logo clothing and souvenirs as well as tickets to the parties and outings for your guests.  ALL tickets need to be ordered in advance and all sales are final. 

  • When paying with a personal check...all advance orders must be received at the national office no later than June 20.

  • All orders received after July 1 must be paid for with a money order or online using PayPals...

  • FINAL DEADLINE for advance orders is July 10.  No exceptions.

  • Tickets for the Welcome Party, The Wildhorse Saloon Lunch & Line Dance Lesson, MUST be purchased in advance.

  • Tickets for the Ice Cream Social, Awards Lunch and Goodbye Breakfast may be purchased during Registration. 
    No tickets to the Ice Cream Social, the Awards Dinner, or to the Goodbye Breakfast will be available after Registration.
    NO EXCEPTIONS.

NO CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT ANY TIME DURING PAGEANT WEEK.

Orientation will begin at 12:15 PM (room TBA). At this time you will meet key members of the event staff and will be given valuable information you will use during the event. During orientation, we will tell you what we have instructed our judges to look for in a potential Miss Teen America. Please be patient so that every attempt can be made to conduct the orientation and a productive and timely manner. You may bring one person with you to orientation.

Rehearsals

Shortly after arrival, registration and orientation, we will begin rehearsals. You will not be judged during rehearsals and you should feel free to wear anything that you feel is comfortable. You will be moving a lot, so we suggest that you wear the most comfortable shoes that you own.

Welcome Pizza Party

Each year the Welcome Party has a specific theme. This year the theme will be announced shortly.  This will be a pizza party. Delegates are our guests. Friends and family are welcome to purchase tickets and join the fun. This is where you hand out your swaps. Attendance is mandatory. More on the party at a later date.

Cost:  Approximately $25


Ice Cream Social

We will be hosting a make-your-own sundae party. Keeping with tradition, this midweek party is a pajama party, which will be held in the hotel. Since this is a public venue please make sure that your pajamas are not revealing. This year’s theme is The Siesta Fiesta!, so pack your favorite pair of PJ’s and slippers!

Awards Luncheon

We will be holding an Awards Luncheon at the end of the week. It is mandatory for delegates to attend this Luncheon. At this time, we will be acknowledging the scholastic award winners and handing out participation trophies and scholarship certificates along with a few other awards. Family and friends may attend. Everyone attending must purchase a ticket. Please come dressed in cocktail or semiformal attire. Crowns and banners are required.

Goodbye Breakfast

We will be holding a goodbye breakfast on Sunday morning. It is mandatory for all delegates to attend. At this time, all competition awards and trophies will be presented. Delegates making the Top 10 or Top 5 will receive their trophies and gift bags at this time. Family and friends may attend. Everyone attending must purchase a ticket. Attire is dressy casual. No denim blue jeans. Crowns and banners are required.

Tickets

Tickets for Miss Teen America will be sold prior to the event and at the door. More information will be sent to you via your Teen America Email Account

Tickets will be General Admission.  They will be on sale at times to be announced during pageant week.  They will also be available at the Box Office on the days of the shows.  The Box Office opens 1 1/2 hours before the show.

Ticket Prices:  Preliminary Nights - $30 /  Final Night - $40
