Miss Kentucky Teen America
Issue of Concern:
My issue of concern is the lack of recognition & knowledge within others for the hardworking individuals of the agriculture industry. Through my platform, Advocating for Agriculture, I strive to bring an awareness to communities by investing in youth, to invest in agriculture, to invest in our future. While encouraging Ag-education, volunteering with gardening & at local food pantries, giving a simple "thank you" to our farmers, & much more, I have became what I like to call an "AGvocate". The industry that feeds us is an industry worth supporting. Representing the bluegrass state & being the daughter of the third generation farmer, I am proud to say that my backyard feeds America. I want to encourage others to be an "AGvocate" too & support our agriculturalists & all they do for us.
"She is clothed with strength & dignity, & she laughs without fear of the future." Proverbs 31:25 I love this quote because it reminds me of the woman God created me to be. I am to be strong in what I believe in & clothe myself in the grace of God. It also reminds me to stay humble when I succeed, hopeful when I fail, & confident to trust in the Lord to put me on the right path to my future.
I enjoy dancing on my high school's dance team, leading my FFA chapter & competing in competitions, kayaking on Lake Barkley, creating vinyl projects on my cameo, singing with my sister, & playing the ukulele & piano.
I aspire to graduate high school with honors to later attend the University of Kentucky where I plan to pursue a degree in broadcast journalism. Soon after graduation, you might find me on national television keeping you up to date on the inside scoop of our world's current events.
