"I didn’t get there by wishing for it or hoping for it, but by working for it" -Estee Lauder
I can not wait to begin my reign as your 2016 Miss Teen America. Like a dream come true, I began with a goal, set my practice schedule and achieved my objective through hard work and dedication. I am honored to be crowned with this title and will strive to be a role model for young women.
I am currently busy preparing for my first year at Texas A&M as a Pre-Med Biology major. Go Aggies! I was very active in high school participating in many programs such as Health Occupations Students of America, Varsity Mixed Show Choir and National Honor’s Society. I was also founder and President of the English Honor Society at our high school. I hope to carry this ambition to college and join the many groups and organizations Texas A&M has to offer.
As Miss Teen America, I am looking forward to the many experiences that have been planned for me throughout the year. However, I am most excited to be able to share my platform - Helping Teens with Special Needs.
I have a natural love for children, but children with Special Needs have a special place in my heart. Every year I am privileged to help with the Sweetheart Special Needs Pageant. I love being a buddy to a contestant and cheering for them on stage during their moment in the spotlight. So many wonderful adventures lie ahead of me; I simply cannot wait.
Thank you to the Miss Teen America organization for this opportunity. I am truly blessed to have a title that brings together so many of my hobbies such as fashion, modeling, pageantry and philanthropy all under one crown. It’s going to be an astounding year!
